MLK 2020 Shoe Drive –  Paradise Valley MLK Celebration Committee has selected Chaparral Senior, Rebecca Gonzalez,’ National Honor Society Individual Service Project. 

This project is a shoe collection that will benefit Pre-K through 5th grade students at Yavapai/Hohokam Elementary School in south Scottsdale.  75% of Yavapai/Hohokam school’s students qualify for Title 1 benefits and they are in desperate need of shoes. 

If you have any new or like new, closed-toe shoes, boys and girls, sizes 8 youth through 8 adult, please drop them off at Chaparral High School (6935 E Gold Dust Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85253), Paradise Valley Town Hall (6401 E Lincoln Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253) or the Scottsdale Bahá’í Faith Community Center (6910 E Shea Blvd. Scottsdale, AZ 85254).
